🐌 JRF Position in Evolutionary Genomics! 🧬 Dr. Maitreya Sil’s D&D Lab at CUBEC, JAIN University (Bangalore), is hiring a Junior Research Fellow for an ANRF-funded project on the color polymorphism of Indrella ampulla, an endemic land snail. ⛰️
This role beautifully blends stunning fieldwork in the Western Ghats with lab work and data analysis, offering top-tier training in bioinformatics, data science, and a potential path to a Ph.D.
🎓 Applicants must hold a Master’s degree (M.Sc/MS/M.Tech) in any biological science and have a passion for ecology/evolution; experience with fieldwork, PCR, R, or Linux is a plus but not mandatory.
